This is so stupid, I can buy wine from out of state, but liquor? Nope, they won’t have it. What the hell! What’s wrong with a couple bottles of good old Jack.? Tennessee has a law where liquor can not be shipped in the the state from online liquor stores, but hey, you want wine? Drink, be marry, be plentiful, but we just won’t let you have a bottle of gin. That is seriously twisted people.
Sure, you could argue that if Tennesseans bought liquor from online sstores out of the state, then the state would lose out on the money. To be fair, that is a valid point but a simple solution would be to have a online store with in the state and only ship with in the state. I’m no expert when it comes to business, but it makes since to me to have it that way.
I’m 21 years old. The way I see it is how can the state tell me what I can and can’t buy on the net. If I don’t feel like paying for a taxi to get there, have them wait, then have them take me to the gas station for a bottle of coke, and then go back home, that’s my business. I don’t mind waiting a week for a tasty bottle ofcoconut rum or a bottle of royal crown to have with a glass of coke.
I know Tennessee isn’t the only state with this problem. When I look at these web sites they give a whole list of states they don’t ship to. It’s ashame that I can’t enjoy discounted liquors like so many others get to. Does anyone feel the words I’m saying?
No not really because if i want a bottle so bad I just go out and get it.
Well, try for Blue Sundays .. lots of states have no wine, beer or liquor sales on Sundays from any store (only bar or rstaurant). And, yeah, if you feel the need for a rum and coke just go to your nearest liquor serving establishment, with a $40 and treat yourself to a mixed drink or 3, it's good stuff in moderation.
But regarding your first point, the state could actually just impose taxes or some kind of fees on out of state online purchases, I hope it won't happen but I know it's being discussed.
Yeah dude, get your butt up and get it, it solves the problem, and it's way faster than getting it shipped.

because if you do it on a daily basis, and let drinking get out of hand, it can ruin your life, and have a negative effect on those around you.
And not to mention your liver just might vanish one day.
Drinking can indeed get out of control...but their's nothing wrong with having a few drinks now and then.
